Settle the Driver Question First

Two families share one minibus and each assumes the other is supplying the driver, a muddle no hire firm can untangle for you. Decide before you enquire: who holds the wheel, whether they meet the hirer's driver requirements, and who steps up if plans change.

Count Seats, Boot Space and Stops Together

A party of eleven with overnight bags and a pram fits differently from eleven day-trippers with cool boxes. Work out seats, boots and drop-offs in a single tally, then match it to the size you request. A repeat hirer might recall last year's squeeze and order up a size.

Plan the Day Backwards from Hand-Back

The return leg causes more friction than the outward run. Fix the latest moment the minibus must go back, then subtract the drive, the unload and any stop you want on the way home. That arithmetic tells you when to set off, and whether the day is realistic at all.
