Write Out the Load and Measure the Awkward Bits

Photograph your driving licence, dig out a proof of address and read the hire terms a day or two ahead. That way anything surprising, such as mileage caps or fuel expectations, surfaces while you still have time to ask questions. Early morning collections leave little room for paperwork problems.
